Welcome to my website! My name is Summer Liu. I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business. I received my Ph.D. in Finance from the Unviersity of Oklahoma in 2022. My research interest is in empirical corporate finance, especially in corporate governance, executive compensation, state ownership, and venture capital. At UR, I teach Principles of Financial Management and Corporate Finance. I am also a CFA charterholder.
